Terms of Service

What These Terms Cover

These Terms of Service apply to your use of flood-fixers.com and to any service relationship you initiate with Flood Fixers, operating out of San Diego, CA. By submitting a contact form, requesting an estimate, or signing a work-authorization form, you agree to the terms described here. If something is unclear, call us at (855) 204-1124 before moving forward — we’d rather answer a question upfront than sort out a misunderstanding later.

Service Area and Estimates

Flood Fixers provides water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and related reconstruction services throughout the greater San Diego area. If your property falls outside our current service footprint, we’ll tell you on the first call rather than waste your time.

Any estimate — whether delivered verbally, by email, or through our website — is not a binding contract. Estimates reflect conditions visible or reported at the time of the assessment. Hidden moisture, concealed structural damage, or scope changes discovered once work begins may affect the final cost. A signed work-authorization form is the document that governs the actual service relationship, including scope, pricing, and timeline. Nothing in a preliminary estimate overrides that signed agreement.

Payment Terms and Accepted Methods

Payment terms are outlined in your work-authorization form. Flood Fixers accepts major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and checks from verified insurance carriers. In cases where insurance is covering part or all of the loss, we work directly with your adjuster to document and submit the claim — but the property owner remains responsible for any balance not covered by the policy, including deductibles. We do not require full payment before work begins on emergency mitigation, but a signed authorization is required before any equipment is placed or remediation starts.

Liability and Licensing

Flood Fixers is a licensed contractor operating under California state regulations. Our liability is limited to the scope of work described in your signed work-authorization form. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage that was present before our arrival, or outcomes resulting from work performed by other parties. We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage; documentation is available on request.

We coordinate with insurance carriers on your behalf only with your explicit authorization. We do not share your personal or claims information with any third party outside that coordination without your consent.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises from a service engagement, we ask that you contact us directly first — most issues can be resolved quickly when we hear about them early. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be handled under California law, with venue in San Diego County. We do not require binding arbitration as a condition of service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The current version will always be posted at flood-fixers.com/terms. Continued use of the site or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions about these terms can be directed to (855) 204-1124.
